Amber Specialty Pharmacy is seeking a Dedicated Authorization Management Specialist to support prior authorizations and appeals for a product program. You will collaborate with providers, health plans, PBMs, and other pharmacies, ensuring timely PA submissions and accurate documentation in the EMR.

The role requires HIPAA awareness and strong customer service, with regular hours Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm CST. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma, experience with insurance verification,

Qualifications

• Experience with prior authorizations and appeals.
• Ability to communicate with providers, health plans, and PBMs.
• HIPAA awareness and handling of confidential information.

Responsabilités

• Initiate and complete prior authorizations and appeals for specialty pharmacy.
• Communicate with providers, health plans, PBMs, and patients to obtain status.
• Submit PA requests via electronic, phone or fax on behalf of physicians.
• Maintain PA documents and records accurately and timely.
• Collaborate with program team on patient access and onboarding.
