Job summary

Global Connect Technologies is seeking a PCBA Design Engineer to own the full lifecycle—from requirements generation and component selection through schematic/layout development, design release, and sustaining.

You will develop DFMEA/CFMEA, perform board bring-up and verification, and collaborate on testing, troubleshooting, and sustaining engineering to deliver robust PCBA solutions.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with Altium or equivalent ECAD software.
• Hands-on experience with sensors and power electronics, including high voltage, high power, AC, SMPS, and LDO.
• Experience with MCU, MPU, and SOM processing platforms.
• Experience with Ethernet, CAN-FD, and isoSPI networking.
• Experience with SPI, UART, I2C, and JTAG.
• Experience with data acquisition including IO, ADC, and DAC.
• Experience with control systems including gate drivers, motor drivers, and HSD.
• Experience with DFMEA/CFMEA, simulations, schematic/layout development, PCBA bring-up, verification, and DFM.

Responsibilities

• Lead PCBA design through design release, vendor DFM, bring-up, verification, configuration management, and sustaining.

• Support troubleshooting, failure analysis, and sustaining engineering.
