Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) seeks a Test Engineer Principal to lead testing for CBP Rev Mod programs. Responsibilities include defining testing strategy, deploying testing frameworks, developing test plans, and managing defects.

Strong leadership, hands-on test automation, and rigorous documentation are required. On-site in the Washington, DC area with DHS BI clearance and US citizenship preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: BS
• 8+ years of relevant experience
• Hands-on experience with test automation software
• Strong documentation and communication skills
• Deep understanding of project testing and integration points
• Ability to analyze and resolve issues

Responsibilities

• Define and implement the role testing within the program
• Deploy and manage testing frameworks to meet the mandate
• Define the scope of testing for each project/release/delivery
• Develop Test Management plans, schedules and resources
• Develop and manage test scenarios and test cases
• Set up and implement automated testing
• Execute testing as needed
• Manage defect identification, tracking and resolution
• Develop metrics and support reporting
• Grow testing assets: team, tools, processes
• Manage resources and stakeholder coordination across orgs
• Ensure adherence to Enterprise Life Cycle and project standards
• Develop documentation to support ELC requirements and project needs
• Provide executive reporting
