Electronic Combat Solutions (ECS) has technology, engineering, and program teams that educate and mentor colleagues to deliver leading Electronic Warfare capabilities. BAE is seeking a full stack developer/front end/cloud developer. The successful candidate will focus on developing applications using modern programming languages such as Node.js, Google Go, or Python. They should have experience with relational and non-relational databases, and a strong understanding of microservices architecture, including deploying services in containerized environments using Kubernetes. This role requires expertise in scaling applications in cloud-native environments and supporting all phases of the software development lifecycle.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
• Ability to obtain a secret clearance.
• At least 6 years of experience in programming and software development across multiple layers of the software stack (UI, web services, microservices, databases).
• Proven experience in leading or advanced programming, including analysis, design, development, implementation, testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting of software systems.
• Experience supporting enterprise applications with 24/7 availability.
• Proficiency in full-stack development with Node.js, Google Go, Python, or similar languages.
• Experience with relational (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and non-relational databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).
• Knowledge of microservices architecture, deployment, and scaling in Kubernetes.
• Experience deploying and scaling applications in cloud environments.
• Familiarity with TDD and CI/CD practices.
• Experience ensuring high availability of enterprise applications.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

• Proficiency with project management, documentation, and source control tools.
• Secret clearance.
• Knowledge of additional cloud-native technologies like service meshes, serverless frameworks, and cloud resource management.
• Experience implementing security best practices in development and deployment.
• Familiarity with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack.
• Experience with agile methodologies and collaborative team environments.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $146,670 - $249,330
