Job summary

SAIC seeks a Senior Principal Technical Advisor to embed with HQ Pacific Air Forces (HQ/PACAF) on Oahu, Hawaii. The role advises the Commander on advanced technologies and long-range warfighter needs, driving S&T programs into CAF and DAF portfolios.

Requires active TS/SCI clearance, CAF experience, and 14+ years of aerospace technical background. Travel up to 15% to CONUS/OCONUS locations is expected.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance required, polygraph
• US citizenship required
• Previously rated military Pilot or WSO or 10+ years CAF experience
• Bachelor’s degree with 14+ years aerospace exp OR Master’s with 12+ years OR PhD with 9+ years
• ≥3 years MAJCOM-level staff experience

Responsibilities

• Directly advise PACAF leadership on advanced technologies and future warfighter requirements.
• Drive the integration of S&T programs into CAF and DAF portfolios.
• Bridge gaps between MAJCOMs, Air Staff, AF TENCAP, FFRDCs, and Joint orgs to accelerate capability delivery.
• Provide technical and operational oversight to USAF Requirements Process, incl. SAP portfolios.
• Assist CONOPS development, platform integration, and program tradeoff analysis.
