Job summary

Trinzic, the future independent company spun off from KBR’s Mission Technology Solutions, seeks a Senior/Principal Systems Modeling & Simulation Engineer for Greenbelt, MD. The role focuses on STOP analyses, orbital system simulations, and performance validation within a challenging environment.

You will lead model development, run both steady-state and transient analyses, and coordinate with optical analysts to ensure accurate performance metrics across missions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering or computer science field.
• 15+ years of systems engineering experience.
• Experience leading requirements verification and validation.
• Knowledge of systems engineering lifecycle processes.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement changes to convert the STOP structural model for moisture desorption analysis.
• Perform steady state and transient analyses for flight and TVAC test cases.
• Conduct Monte Carlo analyses to validate Model Uncertainty Factors (MUF).
• Develop and maintain the STOP pipeline tools and automation.
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to assess optical performance implications.
