Pratt & Whitney, part of RTX, seeks a Senior Principal Systems Engineer - Lead Systems Engineer in the US to drive cryptography-focused architecture within a Scrum environment. This role leads multi-discipline teams, shapes requirements, and partners with product owners to align with budget and schedule.

The position requires an active SECRET clearance, a STEM background, and a track record of large-scale programs; relocation support may be available.

Qualifications

• Experience leading systems architect on programs >$30–50M with NSA cryptography.
• Experience as Product Owner in Agile environment.
• MBSE concepts and tools experience.
• Experience capturing customer requirements and deriving system requirements.
• Active and transferable SECRET clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a Systems Engineering Scrum Team through design, development, integration and test.
• Coordinate with management, software, firmware and hardware leads and customers.
• Interface with multiple hardware and software Scrum Teams to resolve dependencies.
• Help drive priorities with systems product owners and leads to manage budget/schedule.
• Support proposal activities and estimation efforts.
