Job summary

SAIC is seeking a high-energy System of Systems Solutions Architect to lead the design, integration, and evolution of DAF Integrated Fires Command and Control Capabilities. You will oversee multiple interworking systems, bridging strategy to execution, ensuring interoperability, security, and scalability across cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• US Citizen with TS/SCI clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree with 10 years of experience or Master’s degree with 5 years of experience.
• 8+ years of system architecture experience in integrated air missile defense, air defense, or integrated fire control.
• Experience with Integrated Fires systems, cloud based USSF/DAF systems, customers and missions.
• Proficient in SysML/UML, DOORS for requirements, and scripting or software languages like Python or Java.

Responsibilities

• Architectural Design: Define the framework, principles and standards for multi-system interaction.
• Interoperability & Integration: Ensure seamless data exchange across platforms and cloud environments.
• Requirements Traceability: Link system requirements to software components and verification tests.
• Governance & Standards: Establish governance processes and interface definitions for ongoing development.
