Job summary

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a Sr Principal Supply Chain Planning Analyst in Baltimore, MD (Hybrid). You will develop and manage material distribution plans, analyze demand and capacity, and drive improvements in transportation and inventory management.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree with significant supply chain experience, strong data-analysis skills, and the ability to collaborate across operations and programs. U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field with 9 years of relevant experience; 13 years may be substituted for degree.
• Experience in supply chain planning, logistics, transportation, material distribution, or manufacturing operations.
• Experience analyzing operational data and translating findings into actionable recommendations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and data-analysis or visualization tools.
• Ability to work independently across Operations, Manufacturing, Programs, and Business Management.
• US Citizenship and ability to obtain a U.S. Government Secret Security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain short- and long-range plans for material distribution and transportation operations.
• Analyze transportation demand, material flow, workload, route requirements, capacity, resource utilization, and cost-to-serve performance.
• Forecast future transportation and material-handling requirements based on production schedules and program demand.
• Monitor KPIs and identify performance trends, capacity limits, and risks.
• Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders to resolve material movement issues.
