Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking an Associate Supply Chain Planning Specialist for a hybrid role based in Dulles, VA. This entry-level opportunity will join our Global Supply Chain team to support material planning, demand forecasting, and KPI reporting, helping us ensure on-time delivery and optimized inventory.

You will collaborate with sourcing, operations, and finance, use MRP tools, and contribute to capacity planning while developing data-driven dashboards in Power BI and Tableau.

Qualifications

• Has completed their degree in a related field with 0–2 years of experience.
• Degree should be in Supply Chain, Operations, Industrial Engineering, or Business with a supply chain emphasis.
• Experience with MRP/ERP to manage demand, supply, and inventory.
• Strong Excel skills for analyzing data and capacity.
• Familiarity with Power BI or Tableau for dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Support development and execution of material plans by aligning supply requirements with established product line priorities and overall business objectives under guidance from senior planners.
• Execute demand-supply planning activities using MRP tools; maintain and analyze forecasts, review purchase-material positions, and assist in creating capacity and production schedules.
• Monitor and adjust inventory levels across BOMs to balance service levels, working capital, and stock-out risk in coordination with more senior team members.
• Collaborate with sourcing, operations, and finance to align inventory targets and address non-standard part requirements.
• Contribute to long-term capacity and resource planning with data, analyses, and recommendations.
• Develop and present supply chain KPIs using Power BI and Tableau for data-driven decisions.
