Archer is seeking a senior site reliability engineering leader to drive reliability strategy across large-scale platforms. You will influence architecture, own incident response, and guide teams in building observable and automated services.

The role requires deep cloud, distributed systems, and language proficiency in Python/Go/Java, with strong communication and leadership abilities. Hybrid collaboration with software, security, and operations teams is expected.

Qualifications

• Extensive professional experience in site reliability engineering, software engineering, cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, or related technical discipline.

Responsabilités

• Define and drive the site reliability engineering strategy for large-scale, distributed platforms.
• Establish reliability standards, engineering practices, and operational readiness requirements across teams.
• Serve as senior technical authority for reliability, scalability, and production operations.
• Influence architecture and design decisions to ensure observability and fault tolerance.
• Lead cross-functional reliability initiatives and mentor engineers.
• Define SLIs, SLOs, error budgets, and dashboards for health metrics.
• Develop monitoring, logging, tracing, alerts, and automation strategies.
• Plan capacity, performance, and resilience improvements, including disaster recovery.
• Coordinate incident response, post-incident reviews, and root-cause analyses.
• Promote IaC, automated testing, and repeatable deployment practices.
