Job summary

CACI is seeking a Senior Principal Software Developer to support a mission-critical NGA program. You will design, code, and test front-end and back-end solutions, develop integration code, and promote interoperability through service-based architectures in a fast-paced, national security environment.

This role requires active TS clearance with SCI and polygraph, a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, and hands-on work with HTML, CSS, C++, C#, Java, and JavaScript in Agile teams.

The Opportunity:

CACI is seeking a experienced Senior Principal Software Developer to support a mission-critical program for the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA). In this role, you will utilize well-defined software processes, such as Agile, to work as part of a development team in a rapid development environment. You will design, code, and unit test front-end and back-end solutions for integrated systems, develop integration code to connect systems and services, and build solutions that promote interoperability through open standards and service-based architectures. This position offers the opportunity to directly support national security missions in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize well-defined software processes, such as Agile, to work as part of a development team in a rapid development environment
• Design, code, and unit test front-end and back-end solutions for integrated systems using languages and packages such as HTML, CSS, C++, C#, Java, and JavaScript
• Develop integration code to connect and interface systems and services
• Develop solutions that utilize open standards and Interface Control Documents (ICDs) to promote interoperability through service-based architectures
• Support the development and configuration of database systems
• Analyze, fix, and document Discrepancy Reports (DRs) on systems
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and other Agile ceremonies to support team delivery goals
• Coordinate with program stakeholders to ensure development work aligns with business and technical requirements

Qualifications:

Required:

• Active Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain/maintain SCI and polygraph
• Bachelor's degree in any field/major, or 7 additional years of relevant information technology experience in lieu of degree
• Experience using languages and packages such as HTML, CSS, C++, C#, Java, and JavaScript
• Experience designing, coding, and unit testing front-end and back-end solutions for integrated systems

Desired:

• Technical certification such as Network+, Security+, Oracle, or a certification specializing in software development or cloud computing
• Certified AWS Solutions Architect (Associate or higher) or equivalent AWS certification
• Experience with Momentum Financials (Unison/CGI) systems
• Experience supporting NGA or other NGA/IC customer environments specifically

The proposed salary range for this position is:
