As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for guiding and securing Capsule's code, infrastructure, and people. You will implement robust security measures, shape our security strategies and policies, and foster a culture of security awareness to maintain the trust of our clients and stakeholders.

Core Responsibilities:

• Leadership and Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive security policy framework, oversee external security audits, establish control monitoring, create customer assurance programs, conduct risk assessments, and deliver security training.
• Risk Analysis and Trade-off Assessment: Lead risk assessments, evaluate potential impacts, and develop mitigation strategies for vulnerabilities.
• Collaboration and Communication: Work with IT/SRE/DEV teams to review and update access policies and ensure compliance with data protection standards.
• Education and Awareness: Create security awareness programs, conduct training, and ensure secure coding practices are followed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide vision and leadership for security initiatives.
• Align security with business objectives and build stakeholder partnerships.
• Consult with technical leaders on security requirements and mitigation.
• Maintain relationships with vendors and service providers.
• Ensure legal and contractual security compliance.
• Manage security incidents and risks.
• Develop security metrics and reports.
• Promote security education and training.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Security, Computer Science, or related field.
• 10+ years in SaaS/Cloud companies with technical leadership experience.
• Strong understanding of Management protocols, API integration, and Cloud Infrastructure.
• Application and SaaS security experience in production settings.
• Familiarity with security libraries, controls, and common flaws across various programming languages and frameworks.
• Experience with incident management.
• Proficiency in data engineering, machine learning, distributed systems, and security engineering domains.
• Technical credibility across IT, SRE, Security, and Development domains.
• Ability to coordinate remotely and on-site teams effectively.
• Humble, servant leader attitude.
