The key need for this position is [Therapeutic ProteinsxAssay DevelopmentxAI/Dry Lab]

The individual will have a solid background inprotein sciences in drug discovery, with a secondary specialization in applying (not developing)AI/MLandDry Lab technologies, tooptimize Lab-based assay development.

Responsibilities

  • Design and run biochemical/biophysical assays to confirm, qualify, and optimize AI-generated hits, including binding affinities and site specificity.
  • Investigate mechanism of action.
  • Contribute to hit/lead identification and optimization for new targets and modalities.
  • Work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, translational environment with exceptional ability to communicate across teams, and stakeholders.

Profile (Essential)

  • PhD in biochemistry, biophysics, or related field + 2 years industry experience.
  • Strongassay design & developmentskills for protein hit ID and qualification.
  • Experience withmulti-modal approaches(e.g., enzyme modulation, targeted degradation).
  • Proficient inlabeled and label-free assays(e.g., SPR, DSF and more).
  • Holistic and solid understanding ofStructural activity relationships(SAR) & proteins (and their principals;kinetics, thermodynamics, andconformational dynamicsin drug discovery).
  • Experience with Dry Lab technologies -Applying AI/ML, data analysis, lab automation, and structural biology.
