Job summary

Raytheon is seeking a Senior Principal Program Quality Engineer for the Tomahawk program, onsite in Tucson, AZ. You will ensure conformance to AS9100 and program quality plans, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver compliant products and drive improvements.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of experience in quality/mission assurance, with the ability to review technical data and manage supplier quality efforts. Background security clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field and 10+ years of quality/mission assurance experience.
• Experience with ISO 9001, AS9100 and AS9102 quality systems.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and review technical data packages (TDP).
• Experience with document repositories and change control processes (CCB).

Responsibilities

• Serve on the Tomahawk Program team to ensure program performance and conforming products through compliant processes.
• Oversee cross‑functional team alignment to quality requirements per the program quality plan.
• Act as a quality liaison with DCMA/USG and relevant factories and labs for issue resolution.
• Define and implement quality improvement strategies across functions.
• Support supplier quality and supplier engineering to ensure supplier quality plan compliance.
• Review and approve changes to technical data packages and participate in ERB/CCB and design reviews.
• Ensure development hardware is documented in quality history records per program requirements.
