Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Sr. Principal Program Planning and Scheduling Analyst to join our Defense Systems team in Roy, UT or Huntsville, AL. This full-time, on-site role focuses on maintaining the Integrated Master Schedule across multiple functions and delivering executive briefings.

The ideal candidate has DoD IMS experience, DCMA 14-point knowledge, and a TS clearance or ability to obtain one. Strong leadership, communication, and scheduling tool expertise are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 8 years of related experience, or Master's with 6 years.
• Experience with IMS/SIMS and IPMDAR CDRLs.
• US Citizenship with ability to obtain Top Secret Clearance.
• Strong analytical skills and leadership in schedule management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) across engineering, finance, and manufacturing.
• Coordinate schedule assessments and brief executives with variance analysis.
• Perform critical-path and risk analyses; model what-if scenarios for decisions.
• Resolve schedule conflicts and implement corrective actions to stay on track.
• Produce status reports and charts using Primavera P6, MS Project, and Deltek.
• Apply EVM principles and DCMA 14-point practices to monitor performance.
• Collaborate with PMs to define scope, deliverables, and resources.
• Lead scheduling data integration in Project Server/EPMS.
