Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Principal Engineer to join our Process team based in Houston, Texas. The role involves delivering high-quality process engineering design within proposals, studies, projects, and operations, adhering to standards, procedures, schedules, and budgets, with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction.

About You

• Analyze project specifications, tenders, and proposals requirements.
• Contribute to the development of design parameters and methodologies.
• Prepare technically correct, safe, environmentally friendly, cost-effective, and timely discipline engineering analyses and solutions.
• Support all project activities from engineering to start-up.
• Interface with other process engineering disciplines and the design team.
• Assist in developing process knowledge databases for studies, projects, and operations.
• Participate in pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up activities as required.
• Report activities within studies, projects, and operations management.
• Ensure process engineering solutions meet client requirements and industry standards.
• Provide guidance and training to less experienced engineers and review their deliverables.

Experience Level

• More than 10 years of experience in process design.
• Ability to work independently applying advanced engineering techniques.
• Experience managing up to 10 process engineers.
• Experience in managing projects of moderate complexity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering.
• Strong knowledge of process design methods and tools.
• Leadership and project management skills.
• Fluency in professional English.
