Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. seeks an Ethical Hacker/Penetration Tester Sr Principal to lead internal security assessments across servers, web apps, and databases. You will craft test plans and RoE, coordinate with multiple teams, and defend findings with actionable mitigations.

The role requires a TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph, US citizenship, and 8+ years of related experience. Travel up to 25% is possible; you will help enhance TTPS and cyber defense capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a related field.
• Master’s degree may substitute for three years of experience.
• 8+ years of related experience required.
• Top Secret/SI with Polygraph clearance required.
• US citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct internal penetration testing and vulnerability assessments of servers, web apps, services, and databases.
• Manually exploit and compromise operating systems, apps, and databases.
• Analyze results from scanners and static code analysis.
• Identify vulnerabilities and misconfigurations; report with mitigation guidance.
• Write and defend RoE, Test Plans, and SOPs.
• Coordinate with developers, sysadmins, PMs, and senior stakeholders.
• Provide security recommendations to improve TTPS and defenses.
• Report findings and references with risk context and remediation steps.
• Travel up to 25% domestically.
