Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. (GDIT) is seeking a Penetration Tester to support the CBP Cyber Security Directorate.

The role involves hands-on testing across networks, applications, endpoints, cloud workloads and mission systems, using leading offensive tools to uncover weaknesses and drive risk reductions. You will craft detailed reports, prioritize remediation, and collaborate with teams in a high-stakes, federal security environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of penetration testing experience.
• Experience with network, application and wireless assessments.
• Ability to develop structured documentation and technical writing.
• Effective communication with technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Conduct hands-on penetration testing of networks, applications, endpoints, cloud workloads, and mission systems.
• Use industry-standard tools to identify misconfigurations and exploitable flaws.
• Perform credentialed and non-credentialed testing including enumeration and exploitation.
• Evaluate vulnerabilities for exploitability and risk.
• Analyze complex environments to identify cross-domain security issues.
• Produce detailed assessment reports with remediation recommendations.
• Participate in follow-up assessments and retesting.
