Job summary

Aurion Biotech Inc. is seeking a Senior Principal Engineer, MSAT to lead tech transfers for late-stage and commercial programs. This individual contributor role focuses on site readiness, risk assessments, and regulatory support to enable GMP manufacturing at multiple sites.

The candidate should have deep MS&T and manufacturing expertise, with experience leading cross-functional teams and managing CDMOs, and a track record in cell therapy processes. Remote-friendly with WA/MA preference.

Qualifications

• B.S./M.S./Ph.D. in science or engineering required.
• 12+ years in MS&T, manufacturing, or process development.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing CDMOs.

Responsibilities

• Tech transfer lead for late-stage programs, overseeing CMC strategy and CDMO management.
• Lead site readiness activities, risk assessments, and feasibility runs.
• Contribute to CMC regulatory submissions and provide rapid response support.
• Coordinate with manufacturing sites to ensure GMP readiness and continuity.
• Support GMP manufacturing execution, including initial campaigns and investigations.
• Create and maintain technical documents such as process control strategies and change controls.
• Ensure cross-functional alignment to execute tech transfers and process improvements.
