Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a software engineer to architect and develop software for satellite ground systems in Colorado. You will evolve architectures, support customer requirements, and guide the full software lifecycle from design to maintenance.

Candidates must hold a STEM bachelor’s, have 10 years of experience, be proficient in Java with multi-threading, and have experience with microservices in cloud environments, plus an active TS/SCI clearance and U.S. citizenship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM is required.
• 10 years of prior relevant experience.
• Experience designing and developing object‑oriented software using Java.
• Experience with Java multi‑threading.
• Experience with microservices in cloud environments.
• Experience developing planning & scheduling software or similar software systems.
• An active and transferable U.S. government issued TS/SCI security clearance is required prior to start date.
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
