Job summary

Sandia National Laboratories in Albuquerque seeks a Microelectronic/Semiconductor Technologist to join the MESA MicroFab team, performing diverse microfabrication steps in a Class 10 facility with metrology, lithography, etch, deposition, and die singulation. You will contribute to qualified component delivery and document processes.

The role requires an Associate degree in STEM with 1+ years of related experience or a HS diploma with 4 years of semiconductor processing; DOE L clearance

Qualifications

• Associates degree in STEM field plus 1+ years of directly related experience.
• HS diploma plus four (4) years of semiconductor processing or laboratory process experience
• Ability to acquire and maintain a DOE L clearance

Responsibilities

• Perform low-variability, well-characterized manufacturing processes required for qualified component delivery to our customers.
• Deliver on negotiated project commitments.
• Work with senior staff to develop innovative new processes to meet emerging technology needs.
• Maintain documentation and statistical process controls.
• Actively support failure analysis and root cause investigations for process and equipment excursions.
• Collaborate and team with MESA MicroFab Operations personnel and other Sandia technical staff.
