Senior Principal Medical Writer — Syneos Health is a leading fully integrated biopharmaceutical solutions organization built to accelerate customer success. We translate clinical, medical affairs and commercial insights into outcomes to address modern market realities. We provide strategic direction to cross-functional teams to ensure clinical documents (eg, IBs, CSRs, and submission documents) are rigorous, well-structured, and compliant with regulatory requirements.

Role includes leadership of medical writing activities across multiple compounds, mentoring junior writers, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality documents. The position involves collaboration with cross-functional teams, development of regulatory documents in line with ICH and global guidelines, and contribution to process improvements and SOPs.

Responsibilities
  • Develop regulatory documents for submission to regulatory agencies globally, in accordance with ICH and other global guidelines, standards and processes, and Incyte/ Syneos authoring standards, as applicable, in adherence with study/project timelines and corporate objectives.
  • Manage medical writing projects, including developing timelines and communicating with cross-functional team members to maintain awareness of review cycles and expectations.
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings to provide input on medical writing deliverables and timelines.
  • Review related documents (e.g., Protocols and Statistical Analysis Plans) as appropriate.
  • Participate in cross-functional process improvements and in defining/writing SOPs and best practices for efficient preparation of quality documents.
  • Manage internal and contract medical writing resources to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Mentor junior medical writing staff.
