Overview

Red Hat is seeking experienced Senior and Principal Machine Learning Engineers to join our AI Engineering team. You'll have the opportunity to work on democratizing open source AI, building, optimizing, and scaling machine learning models, and contributing to innovative AI solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement machine learning systems
• Develop and optimize ML models for production
• Create and maintain ML infrastructure and pipelines
• Ensure scalability and maintainability of ML systems
• Collaborate with data scientists, researchers, and software developers
• Mentor team members

Qualifications

• Experience in AI development, deep learning, ML libraries (e.g., PyTorch, scikit-learn), and mathematics
• Experience in feature engineering, Go or Python development
• Knowledge of Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker, or cloud-native technologies
• Experience with agile development, Jira, Git
• Strong communication skills

Preferred Skills

• Masters or PhD in ML or NLP
• Active participation in open source communities like KServe, Kubeflow

Additional Details

Salary Range: $189,600 - $312,730, based on experience and qualifications.
