Palo Alto Networks is seeking seasoned software engineers to design and deliver layer-7 security features across PANOS platforms. You will build high-performance components, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to cloud-delivered and hardware-assisted firewalls.

Ideal candidates have deep C, Go or Python skills, strong TCP/IP knowledge, and a willingness to apply AI to improve security tooling.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science or similar, or equivalent practical experience.
• 7+ years in security or networking industry.
• Strong C programming under Linux.
• Experience with Go and Python.
• Experience with multi-threaded, high-performance software.
• TCP/IP networking software development experience.
• Willingness to leverage AI to maximize productivity and operational efficiency.
• Graduate degree preferred; military experience accepted.
