Nscale is hiring a Senior Principal Front End Network Engineer – AI Infrastructure to lead the reliability and evolution of high-performance Ethernet front-end networks supporting AI workloads. You’ll guide architecture choices, standards, and cross-team initiatives in a scalable, cost-conscious way.

You will own the technical strategy for leaf-spine fabrics, partner across SRE, Compute, Storage, and Network Architecture, and mentor senior engineers to raise the bar on operational excellence.

Formación

• 12+ years of experience in network engineering for hyperscale data centers, cloud, or AI infra.
• Expert-level experience with large-scale Ethernet fabrics (leaf-spine/Clos).
• Deep routing knowledge: BGP, OSPF, ECMP, EVPN-VXLAN.
• Production experience with Arista EOS or Nokia platforms.
• Knowledge of long-haul circuits, DCI, optical transport.
• Strong background in storage networking over Ethernet.

Responsabilidades

• Own the technical direction and operational strategy for front-end AI infra networks at the highest level.
• Design and evolve large-scale Ethernet leaf-spine/Clos fabrics (Arista, Nokia).
• Lead as escalation point for complex front-end network incidents and drive fixes.
• Improve fabric reliability, performance predictability, observability, and maturity.
• Set standards for hardware, routing, firmware lifecycle, automation, and changes.
• Collaborate with SRE, Compute, Storage, and Network Architecture teams on end-to-end design.
• Mentor senior/principal engineers and raise operational rigor.
• Drive uptime, latency, capacity, and incident reduction.
