Job summary

Action Environmental is seeking a Senior Principal Environmental Engineer / Engineer of Record in Florida. The role leads large-scale remediation programs, overseeing design through construction and engaging EPA/state authorities.

Requires Florida PE licensure, 15+ years of experience, and proven EOR leadership on complex projects. Hybrid Florida location with direct client and regulatory interface.

Qualifications

• Active Professional Engineer license in Florida in good standing.
• 15+ years progressive environmental engineering/remediation experience.
• Experience as Engineer of Record or Lead Design Engineer on large remediation projects.

Responsibilities

• Sign, seal, review, and approve critical engineering deliverables and construction documents.
• Lead end-to-end Remedial Design and Remedial Action execution through site closeout.
• Direct multidisciplinary engineering teams and subcontractors in remediation projects.
• Serve as primary technical liaison to EPA/state agencies and clients.
• Provide technical direction for field operations including site work and dewatering.
• Mentor mid-level staff and ensure quality and regulatory compliance.
