Job summary
KEITH, a multidisciplinary civil engineering firm, seeks a Principal Engineer / Chief Engineer for our Pompano Beach office. You will provide senior technical guidance on complex land development and water resources projects, lead design reviews, and mentor staff while supporting growth and client relationships.
The ideal candidate will have a PE in Florida, a civil engineering degree, and a proven track record delivering high-value projects with strong communication skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Florida.
- Experience in land development and water resources.
- Leadership and mentoring abilities.
- Strong communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Act as senior technical advisor on land development and water resources projects.
- Provide high-level design oversight to ensure quality and compliance.
- Lead and support project teams through planning, design, permitting and delivery.
- Mentor engineering staff and foster technical growth.
- Collaborate with project managers, clients and stakeholders.
- Serve as a trusted resource for technical problem-solving.
- Support proposals, presentations, and client relationships.
