Job summary

Boehringer Ingelheim in the United States seeks a Senior Principal Engineer, Project Management to drive strategic projects across process engineering, facility engineering, and automation. You will lead design, start-up, qualification, start-up, working with global and local leaders to deliver on-time, within budget and with quality.

You will oversee cross-functional teams, manage budgets, track milestones, and spearhead risk mitigation while ensuring alignment with quality and sourcing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an accredited institution required; MBA preferred.
• Minimum five years of Animal/Human Health industry knowledge with leadership experience.
• Global supply/animal health/pharmaceutical manufacturing experience in GMP environments.
• Proven ability to deliver ROI and manage multi-project portfolios.
• Strong engineering/automation knowledge for cross-functional solutions.
• Experience guiding design to start-up, qualification, and operational handover.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, planning, qualification, and start-up for strategic projects.
• Coordinate engineering, quality, sourcing, and operations stakeholders.
• Manage budgets, milestones, risks, and communications with site and global teams.
• Ensure on-time delivery within budget with required quality and GMP compliance.
• Mentor and align up to seven personnel across engineering/operations.
