Qualifications
- 10+ years in Data/Analytics/Experimentation Platform or backend engineering.
- Staff-level scope with cross-team technical influence.
- Expert SQL and Python or similar languages.
Responsibilities
- Architect and improve orchestration, monitoring, and data reliability systems.
- Define modeling, semantic layer, and governance standards across teams.
- Optimize warehouse performance and reduce compute spend.
- Implement secure data access controls and strengthen compliance.
- Partner with Engineering to improve upstream data quality and contracts.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to modernize Zocdoc’s data platform.
- Mentor engineers and guide architectural decisions.
