Job summary

Dell Technologies in the United States is seeking an Electrical Systems Senior Principal Engineer for our Hardware Engineering team. You will deliver enterprise-grade hardware across multiple product lines, collaborating with firmware, mechanical, power, and thermal engineers to meet ambitious targets.

You will lead design directions, author design guides, review results with ODM/JDM partners, and ensure feasibility of architectures while maintaining cost, performance, and reliability.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in hardware design, analysis and debugging of complex PCBs.
• Experience with PCIe, DDR and Ethernet interfaces.
• Strong background in server architecture.
• Experience leading cross-functional engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Author and coordinate design guides and specifications for new designs as well as drive architectural direction for next generation devices/platforms and ensure feasibility of concepts for these products
• Work closely with ODM/JDM partner to execute a design against the specified architecture, review the design and validation results
• Set standards and determine design targets for the product (cost, performance, reliability) are feasible through proper design choices
• Collaborate across hardware, software, mechanical, manufacturing, procurement to meet program goals
• Possess excellent communication skills to discuss requirements and provide technology updates to multiple Dell Technologies product groups
