Job summary

Dell Technologies seeks a Senior Principal Electrical Engineering Technologist in Austin, Texas, to lead electrical architecture for next‑gen laptop platforms. You will guide engineering teams through design, validation, and prototyping, ensuring high performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.

As the primary technical authority, you will partner with cross-functional leaders to drive risk mitigation, platform strategy, and successful product outcomes across the Dell laptop portfolio.

Qualifications

Deep expertise in analog and digital circuit design, high-speed interfaces and power delivery.
Experience leading cross-functional programs and mentoring engineers.
Recent experience in schematic capture and PCB motherboard design.
Experience working with ODM partners and global engineering teams is a plus.

Responsibilities

Architect and validate electrical designs balancing performance, power, cost, and reliability.
Serve as the primary technical authority in cross-functional forums influencing product strategy.
Mentor and develop engineering talent and foster team growth.
Collaborate to identify and mitigate technical risks and ensure smooth productization.
