Job summary

Cadence Design Systems is hiring a Digital Implementation and Signoff Field Applications Engineer. You will work with Cadence customers on Backend Digital Design Implementation and Signoff, including Place and Route and timing/power signoff, to meet project schedules.

Engage with R&D to influence next‑gen tools and technologies, and drive customer engagements to better understand requirements and improve flows. Strong communication and multi‑disciplinary collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of industry physical design experience.
• Experience with IC digital implementation flows and backend EDA tools.
• Scripting in Tcl/Perl/Python is a must.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support in Backend Digital Design Implementation and Signoff.
• Guide customers to achieve design goals and schedules.
• Conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations.
• Drive evaluations/benchmarks to success.
• Collaborate with R&D to enhance tools and flows.
