A leading defense contractor is seeking a Principal / Senior Principal Controls Software Design Engineer. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in STEM discipline with at least 5 years of experience.
• Current active DoD TS/SCI clearance.
• Understanding of software design principles and computer architecture.

Responsibilities

• Support the software design team lead and partner with engineering functions.
• Perform code and unit testing.
• Progress and mature the segment, supporting engineering reviews.

Skills

Familiarity with Command and Control or Controls System software

Proficiency in working with real-time embedded software

Excellent written and oral communication skills
