Job summary

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) seeks a hands-on senior engineer to define and build the next generation of OCI control-plane storage. You will address read/write scalability, strict serializability, and multi-version concurrency control in a global, multi-tenant environment.

You will mentor engineers, drive large technical initiatives, and build systems that ensure reliability and scalability of Oracle Cloud at massive scale.

Qualifications

• Hands-on senior engineer with deep expertise in distributed systems.
• Experience with cloud-scale storage and transactional metadata management.
• Strong understanding of consistency, durability, and low-latency design.
• Proven ability to lead design reviews and mentor engineers.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and evolution of foundational cloud infrastructure services.
• Architect and build highly available, strongly consistent distributed systems.
• Drive major technical initiatives from architecture to production rollout.
• Improve service scalability and performance through data-plane architecture and optimization.
