Job summary

The Boeing Company in Mountain View, CA seeks Senior or Principal ASIC/FPGA Design and Verification Engineers to join the Electronic Products team. You will lead FPGA/ASIC designs and drive verification across programs, collaborating with cross-functional engineers.

This onsite role focuses on state-of-the-art digital ICs/SoCs, test benches with UVM, and mentoring junior staff while delivering high-performance space-grade architectures.

Qualifications

• This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship as a condition of employment
• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or related field
• 10+ years of ASIC/FPGA design or verification experience
• Experience with SystemVerilog and production designs
• Hardware-based integration and test experience

Responsibilities

• Lead FPGA/ASIC designs, including multi-FPGA/ASIC programs and teams with design and verification engineers
• Collaborate with customers, system engineers, and hardware engineers to drive requirements capture
• Explore trade-space of ASIC/FPGA technologies and determine optimal parts
• Implement FPGA/ASIC with latest design practices from architecture to gate-level netlists
• Integrate DSP IP and third-party IP as needed
• Perform static timing analysis, LEC, CDC, linting and checks to meet schedule
• Develop Functional Coverage Models and perform Code Coverage
• Create self-checking and reusable test benches using OOP concepts and UVM
• Drive FPGA-based prototyping and validation
• Validate design through hardware integration tests
• Train and mentor less senior engineers
