Job summary

Harnham is seeking a Senior/Principal Applied AI Engineer in the United States (hybrid or remote) to own GenAI solutions from prototype to production. You will design, build, and deploy AI applications across client-facing and internal platforms, delivering measurable impact for customers and teams.

You will work with GenAI libraries, LLMs, prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation, and vector databases, while collaborating with product, engineering, and data teams to balance

Qualifications

• Strong practical experience applying Generative AI in commercial settings.
• Advanced Python development with modern GenAI libraries.
• Hands-on experience with large language models, prompt engineering, and LLM evaluation.
• Proven capability building RAG pipelines and working with vector databases.

$150,000 to $205,000 + 15% Bonus

This is an opportunity to take ownership of real, production-grade Generative AI solutions in a highly applied environment. You will work on end-to-end AI delivery, from early prototypes through to scalable deployment, with clear visibility of the impact your work has on customers and internal teams.
