Job summary

Quanta Services seeks a Primavera P6 Scheduler to support Utility Transmission & Distribution (T-Line) and Substation EPC projects in the Houston area. You will develop and maintain resource- and cost-loaded schedules and perform critical path analysis to drive project execution.

Candidates should have 5+ years of scheduling experience in utility projects, advanced Primavera P6 skills, and be able to collaborate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of scheduling experience in utility projects (T&D and/or substation).
• Advanced Primavera P6 expertise with cost- and resource-loaded schedules.
• Experience integrating inputs from engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning teams.
• Strong communication and collaboration across multiple departments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage Primavera P6 schedules for utility transmission, substation, and renewable projects.
• Build and maintain resource- and cost-loaded schedules aligned with baselines.
• Incorporate inputs from engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning teams.
• Perform critical path analysis, what-if scenarios, and productivity tracking.
• Identify schedule risks, evaluate sequencing, and propose mitigations.
• Produce earned value metrics, KPIs, and cash flow reports for stakeholders.
• Support look‑ahead planning and continuous improvement.
