Job summary

PTS Advance seeks a Project Planner / Scheduler to develop, plan, schedule, and coordinate capital project activities for refinery and heavy industrial facilities. You will work with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Contractors, and Turnaround Teams to build detailed work plans and execution strategies using Primavera P6 and CMMS (SAP preferred).

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in capital project planning and maintenance scheduling in refinery, petrochemical, or heavy industry, plus 3+

Qualifications

• 5+ years of maintenance planning and scheduling in refinery/petrochemical/heavy industrial environments.
• 3+ years of Primavera P6 scheduling experience.
• Experience coordinating with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Contractors, and Turnaround teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive job plans for capital projects and maintenance activities.
• Review work requests and convert approved work orders into executable work packages.
• Create detailed work scopes, labor estimates, equipment requirements, tools, permits, and safety considerations.
• Coordinate with Operations to identify equipment availability and establish maintenance windows.
• Ensure all materials, spare parts, drawings, procedures, and resources are available prior to job execution.
• Support maintenance backlog management and work prioritization efforts.
