Requirements include NP/PA licensure, master's level NP education or PA program, NCCPA/Nursing board certification, and 3 years of experience. DEA/BLS qualifications and weekend/after-hours coverage may be required.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant is required.
• Graduate of an approved Master's level or Doctorate level NP program or ACCPA-accredited PA program.
• Certification by a national nursing organization and licensure by boards of nursing/medicine or NCCPA certification is required.
• Nurse Practitioners must obtain autonomous state licensure within 90 days of eligibility.
• Three years of work experience are required.
• Must maintain DEA and BLS certifications as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary care services to patients with acute, chronic and preventive needs.
• Work as part of a healthcare team within organizational protocols and licensure.
• Maintain organized electronic medical records with confidentiality.
• Attend provider meetings and support center operations and outreach obligations.
• Assist in program responsibilities such as student precepting and community involvement.
