At Siemens, we help organizations transform maintenance and operations through connected insights, AI-powered technology, and intelligent asset management solutions. Our software enables customers to manage the full lifecycle of assets, facilities, and infrastructure while improving efficiency, reducing risk, and optimizing long-term investments. By connecting data, people, and processes, we empower organizations to make smarter decisions, maximize asset performance, and achieve more resilient operations.

Description

We are expanding the Smart Infrastructure, Asset Management Software (SI AMS) team to strengthen our pricing, monetization, commercial strategy, and portfolio performance capabilities.

The Senior Pricing & Monetization Analyst will play a key role in shaping how we price, package, position, and commercialize our software portfolio. You will lead analysis and recommendations across pricing strategy, monetization models, product packaging, portfolio optimization, and commercial performance while partnering closely with Product and Finance leaders.

This is a highly cross-functional role with the opportunity to influence decisions across Product Management, Finance, Sales, Marketing, Client Success, Services, and Sales Operations. You will combine strategic thinking with strong financial and commercial analytics to turn complex data into actionable recommendations.

Why This Role Matters

You will help shape how Siemens brings software solutions to market. From developing pricing and monetization strategies to optimizing product packaging and portfolio structure, your work will directly influence revenue performance, customer value, and long-term growth.

This is an opportunity to build and improve commercial frameworks, influence next-generation offerings, and partner with senior leaders on important pricing and portfolio decisions, rather than simply reporting on performance.

You’ll Make an Impact By
Pricing, Monetization & Commercial Strategy
  • Leading pricing and monetization strategy and analysis across the software portfolio, including pricing models, packaging, market positioning, and commercial models.
  • Developing pricing and packaging recommendations for new products, next-generation offerings, and evolving commercial models.
  • Evaluating pricing across customer segments, verticals, markets, and geographies to identify opportunities for revenue growth and pricing optimization.
  • Conducting customer willingness-to-pay and competitive research and translating market insights into actionable pricing recommendations.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve price realization, strengthen monetization, and optimize discounting and packaging.
  • Analyzing SKU and portfolio performance to identify opportunities to simplify offerings, improve the customer experience, and drive growth.
  • Ensuring product packaging and commercial structures align with the overall portfolio strategy.
  • Evaluating product and commercial structures to identify duplication, complexity, or opportunities for portfolio rationalization.
  • Supporting new product launches, packaging changes, and portfolio evolution through commercial and financial analysis.
  • Building financial models, business cases, scenario analyses, and sensitivity analyses to support pricing, packaging, portfolio, and investment decisions.
  • Partnering closely with Finance leaders on revenue analysis, forecasting assumptions, business cases, and financial implications of commercial decisions.
  • Analyzing commercial performance across revenue, pricing effectiveness, discounting, customer adoption, retention, product mix, and portfolio performance.
  • Developing Power BI reporting and decision-support tools that provide clear visibility into commercial and portfolio performance.
Leadership, Governance & Execution
  • Translating complex commercial, product, and financial analysis into clear recommendations for senior leaders and pricing committees.
  • Establishing repeatable frameworks and methodologies that improve pricing and commercial decision-making.
  • Supporting deal desk requests, pricing exceptions, and commercial approvals in partnership with Sales, Finance, Product, and Services.
  • Partnering with Sales Operations and other business functions to ensure approved pricing, packaging, price books, and commercial structures are implemented accurately.
This Is How You’ll Win Us Over
  • Typically 8+ years of relevant experience in pricing, monetization, commercial strategy, strategic finance, revenue operations, portfolio analysis, or a related field, with meaningful experience in SaaS or software.
  • Experience leading pricing analysis, financial modeling, competitive research, and business-case development within a software or SaaS environment.
  • Experience with SaaS pricing and monetization models, such as subscription, tiered, enterprise, usage-based, or hybrid models.
  • Experience analyzing commercial performance metrics, including revenue, pricing effectiveness, discounting, adoption, retention, and product mix.
  • Experience evaluating product packaging, portfolios, customer segments, markets, or commercial structures and translating analysis into actionable recommendations.
  • Demonstrated ability to partner effectively with Product, Finance, Sales, Marketing, Services, and Sales Operations.
  • Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills, with experience using Power BI or comparable business intelligence tools.
  • Ability to independently structure ambiguous business questions, determine the right analytical approach, and develop practical recommendations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present recommendations to senior business leaders.
  • Proven ability to take ownership, influence cross-functional decisions, and deliver results in a complex organization.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field, or equivalent experience.
You’ll Thrive Even More If You Also Bring
  • Experience with new product launches, portfolio transformation, packaging optimization, or new monetization models.
  • Experience developing or evaluating value-based pricing strategies.
  • Experience with subscription economics and SaaS metrics.
  • Experience in facilities management, asset management, operational software, or another vertical SaaS market.
  • Experience in commercial strategy, strategic finance, revenue operations, or product analytics.
  • Experience navigating both entrepreneurial or scaling environments and larger global organizations.
  • SQL or other advanced analytical capabilities.
