Summary

If you’re someone who enjoys turning financial data into strategic insight and influencing high‑value client relationships, this role puts you right at the center of it. As a Senior Pricing Analyst, you’ll partner closely with firm leadership to analyze key accounts and portfolios, shaping pricing strategies that balance client expectations with profitability. You’ll dive into realization metrics, discount structures, and alternative fee arrangements, while also guiding partners and colleagues on smart, effective pricing decisions. Beyond analysis, you’ll play a hands‑on role in managing annual client agreements, supporting business development efforts, and ensuring seamless coordination across teams. From budgeting and reporting to contributing to major pitches and client growth initiatives, this is a role where financial expertise meets real business impact.

  • Design strategic pricing solutions for partners by modeling rates, discounts, realization, direct margin, and leverage scenarios
  • Lead and support the annual deal process, including reviewing client agreements, collaborating on negotiations, maintaining the deals database, and coordinating with billing and collections teams
  • Develop Alternative Fee Arrangements (AFAs) based on partner-defined scope, and recommend matter structures that enhance performance tracking and reporting
  • Proactively communicate with partners, Client Account Managers (CAMs), and leadership on at‑risk matters, advising on actions such as renegotiation strategies or improved leverage models
  • Perform post‑engagement analyses using historical financial data and insights to inform future pricing decisions and drive stronger financial outcomes
  • Contribute to the evolution of pricing capabilities by supporting the development of best practices, tools, and process improvements across the Pricing team
Qualifications
  • Undergraduate Degree required; concentration in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business preferred.
  • 5 years’ experience within Professional Services or a similarly analytical environment requiring financial modeling and data analysis.
  • Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills, particularly advanced Excel capabilities.

  • Experience supporting pricing, budgeting or financial planning processes preferred.
  • Effective communicator with the ability to present financial information clearly to attorneys and business professionals.
  • Strong technical aptitude and ability to quickly learn new systems and applications.
  • Ability to manage multiple requests, assess priorities and deliver accurate work under deadlines.
  • Ability to maintain professionalism and sound judgment under pressure.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Demonstrated client-service mindset with focus on balancing responsiveness and financial discipline.
  • Ability to take assignments from initiation to completion with moderate supervision.
  • Ability to apply analytical thinking to identify issues and propose practical solutions within established guidelines.
