Position Overview

The Senior Pricing Analyst will help ensure that financial and security‑level information used across the investment platform is accurate, complete, and reliable. This is an analytical position that goes beyond routine operational processing. The individual will investigate unusual information, research discrepancies, determine the underlying cause of issues, and coordinate solutions with investment, operations, technology, and external partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Review financial and security‑level information and identify potential discrepancies, exceptions, or data‑quality issues
• Research unusual information using available market data, internal systems, security characteristics, and other relevant resources
• Investigate differences between internal information and external data sources and determine appropriate next steps
• Develop an understanding of financial instruments and the market factors that can affect their valuation
• Coordinate with external financial‑data providers when additional information or clarification is required
• Work with investment and portfolio teams to resolve questions requiring additional market or security‑specific context
• Partner with operations and technology teams to investigate issues affecting investment information and related workflows
• Analyze recurring exceptions and identify potential underlying process, system, or data issues
• Help communicate business requirements to technology partners supporting internal investment systems
• Participate in enhancements to internal processes, controls, workflows, and analytical tools
• Use financial and analytical tools to evaluate large amounts of investment information and improve the efficiency of research
• Build knowledge across multiple types of publicly traded and privately structured financial instruments
• Support projects involving new investment products, financial‑data sources, systems, or analytical capabilities
• Identify opportunities to reduce manual processes and improve the accuracy and scalability of investment operations
• Maintain appropriate documentation related to research, issue resolution, and process improvements

Qualifications

• Approximately 1–4 years of professional experience within financial services
• Relevant backgrounds may include investment operations, middle office, fund accounting, financial data, securities operations, valuation support, or another investment‑related function
• General understanding of financial markets, securities, and investment concepts
• Experience working with financial or security‑level data and investigating discrepancies is highly valuable
• Ability to evaluate information critically rather than simply processing transactions or resolving exceptions
• Experience using financial‑market information platforms or other investment‑data resources is preferred
• Strong Excel and general data‑analysis capabilities
• Exposure to database querying or analytical tools is beneficial but not required
• Comfortable partnering with technology professionals on systems, data, and workflow‑related issues
• Experience participating in process improvements, systems enhancements, or implementation projects is valuable
• Strong investigative and problem‑solving skills with an interest in understanding the root cause of issues
• Ability to communicate effectively with investment professionals, operations teams, technology partners, and external service providers
• Ability to learn unfamiliar investment products and financial concepts quickly
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced investment environment
• Collaborative mindset with an interest in developing broader knowledge of institutional investment management
