Express Employment is seeking an experienced Press Brake Operator in Hibbing, MN. You will read blueprints, set up and operate press brake equipment, and ensure parts meet precise tolerances while maintaining safety.

This role requires attention to detail, strong measurement skills, and the ability to follow process controls. Shifts run Monday through Thursday on 10-hour days with pay $18.00-$20.00/hour based on experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience as a Press Brake Operator.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving.
• Ability to read blueprints and plans.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate press brake equipment to bend and form metal components.
• Run bend and forming operations using standard and custom punches.
• Adjust ram and back gauge locations per process control instructions and blueprints.
• Check height, depth and thickness using micrometers, dial indicators, calipers, gauges, and other precision-measuring instruments
• Perform complex programming using all features of the press brake
• Work with tight tolerances
• Produce parts for assembly operations
• Meet customer specifications and delivery requirements
• Perform spot inspections of parts
• Complete and maintain paperwork
• Identify assembly parts
