Compensation Overview

The annual base salary range for this position is a nationwide market range, reflecting salaries across the country. The actual salary will depend on factors such as role scope, complexity, location, candidate skills, education, training, credentials, experience, and employment conditions. Employees are also eligible for performance-based cash incentives as part of our compensation and benefits program.

What Is the Opportunity?

At Travelers, our Enterprise Operations teams deliver exceptional customer and agent experiences, drive revenue and underwriting results, and foster a culture of innovation and efficiency. The Premium Audit group conducts audits on property & casualty commercial lines policies to establish classifications, exposures, and premium bases, in accordance with regulations. As a Sr Premium Auditor Associate, you will conduct audits of increasing complexity with minimal oversight. Audits may be virtual and/or in-person.

This position may require onsite audits within the designated territory. The candidate must reside near the location. The role is based 100% remotely, with a mix of mobile and home-based work.

What Will You Do?

  • Conduct audits of moderately complex Commercial Lines policies (e.g., Workers’ Compensation, General Liability, Auto) through interviews, reviews, and verification of business operations to determine proper classifications. Review financial records such as payroll, tax returns, and ledgers to assess exposures.
  • Communicate audit findings to customers, agents/brokers, and internal partners to clarify premium exposure changes.
  • Build relationships with customers, agents/brokers, underwriters, and internal teams.
  • Stay informed about updates in premium auditing through internal and external resources.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

What Will Our Ideal Candidate Have?

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • At least two years of Premium Audit experience across various property and casualty commercial lines.
  • Completion of APA 91 and 92.
  • Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and partners.
  • Analytical skills to conduct audits efficiently.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

What Is a Must Have?

  • High school diploma/GED.
  • One year of Premium Audit or related experience.
  • Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
