SCI Summit Consulting, LLC seeks an experienced Premium Audit professional for a field role in Pennsylvania. The role focuses on auditing insureds’ financial records, verifying premium accuracy, and collaborating with underwriters and internal teams to ensure compliant, precise calculations.

Applicants should have a strong background in accounting/finance within insurance, with leadership and communication skills to support strategic decision-making and staff development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Risk Management and Insurance or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in Premium Audit, Underwriting, Accounting, or Finance.
• Experience in insurance accounting preferred and professional designations encouraged (APA, AU, CPCU, ARM).
• Strong analytical, regulatory, and interpersonal communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Conducts thorough audits of insureds' financial records to verify premium accuracy and compliance.
• Reviews complex financial statements and payroll records to identify trends affecting premiums.
• Resolves discrepancies by coordinating with producers, underwriters, insureds, and internal teams.
• Evaluates applicability of certificates and class codes to exposures.
• Analyzes claim activity to ensure correct employee coding on policies.
• Prepares and presents audit reports with actionable findings for management.
• Collaborates with underwriters to ensure accurate premium calculations.
• Provides excellent customer service to policyholders during audits.
• Mentors staff and participates in talent decisions and performance management.
