Jacobs in the United States is seeking a skilled Preconstruction Manager to support complex water, wastewater, environmental, heavy civil, and government facility projects in Tampa. You will review proposals, design documents, and develop cost impacts to define the scope of work.

You will mentor a knowledgeable team, prepare estimates using WBS, takeoffs, and schedules, and collaborate with design and contracts staff. Travel is required and projects vary by location.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management or similar, with significant experience.
• Extensive background with water and wastewater construction including field experience.
• Proficient in current technology: AutoCAD, Microstation, Bluebeam, Timberline, Excel, Primavera P6, Smartsheet, SQL databases.
• Understanding of estimating structures, takeoffs, schedules, and risk model development.
• Proficient in quantitative risk analysis using Deltek Acumen for schedule and cost analyses.
• Experience with Timberline and HCSS Heavy Bid estimating software.
• Knowledge of scheduling with Primavera P6 or Smartsheet.
• Mentor junior staff and travel as required.

Responsabilidades

• Review proposals, conceptual and detailed designs, drawings, and specs to define scope and cost.
• Prepare estimates by developing WBS, takeoffs, and cost impacts; assist contracts staff with SOIs.
• Apply construction means and methods, prepare schedules, and calculate indirect costs.
• Collaborate with design teams to refine input for design-build estimates.
• Develop reports and presentations; analyze historical data to inform estimates.
