Job Description:

Ryan Companies US, Inc. has an immediate career opportunity for a Senior Preconstruction Manager to join our National Mission Critical team. Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop conceptual and detailed estimates in collaboration with project managers.
  • Perform quantity take-offs for all construction systems.
  • Solicit subcontractor pricing for budgeting and bids.
  • Scope and select subcontractors based on value and project needs.
  • Maintain cost history and record final estimates.
  • Provide preconstruction expertise to support development, architectural, and construction teams, including value design, cost analysis, scheduling, procurement, and project pursuits.
  • Train Cost Engineers and Project Management staff.
  • Guide understanding of project scope, market pricing, and resource availability.
  • Assist clients and developers with conceptual budgets and cost modeling using the Uniformat II system.
Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management.
  • Minimum of 10 years of proven experience in the commercial construction industry, with a preference for mission-critical and industrial experience.
Preferred Skills and Knowledge:
  • Understanding of construction methods, building types, and procurement processes.
  • Proficiency with CSI and Uniformat II work breakdown structures.
  • Ability to perform accurate quantity take-offs and data summarization.
  • Working knowledge of DESTINI Estimator, Microsoft Excel, OST, and Bluebeam.
  • Proactive and effective communication, professionalism, honesty, and integrity.
Eligibility:
  • Verification of employment eligibility to work in the U.S. is required.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Compensation:

The annual base salary range is $132,000 - $197,900. The actual salary may vary based on location, experience, and skills. Additional compensation such as commissions or incentives may apply.
