Clune Construction is seeking a Preconstruction Manager to drive cost evaluations, foster client relationships, and deliver innovative preconstruction solutions. The role ensures a smooth transition from concept to execution by aligning technical leadership with stakeholder communication.

The position involves leading bidding, shaping estimates, mentoring teams, and advancing project permitting and mobilization in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture or Engineering preferred.
• 8+ years of construction project management experience, 5+ in commercial construction.
• Experience in preparing detailed conceptual estimates and studies.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of the preconstruction system, structure, and process from initial estimate to subcontractor finalization.
• Act as a collaborative advocate and communicator for project and customer success.
• Guide project teams through permitting and site mobilization.
• Provide innovative solutions to project challenges.
• Lead the bidding and trade partner management process.
• Develop and maintain strong client and business relationships.
• Create detailed conceptual cost estimates and studies from schematic-level documentation.
• Lead and mentor preconstruction teams effectively.
