Job summary

DPR Construction seeks a seasoned Preconstruction Leader to drive early-stage cost strategy, design-phase assessment, and constructability reviews for major projects. You will coordinate with clients, designers, and DPR operations leaders to ensure deliverables are accurate and aligned with objectives.

Lead a team of professionals, mentor staff, and uphold DPR's standards for transparent communication, disciplined action, and project excellence across multiple pursuits or a large program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, architecture, or related field is required.
• 12+ years in preconstruction, estimating, or project engineering; 5+ years in leadership roles.

Responsibilities

• Lead preconstruction planning, coordination, and delivery for large projects.
• Align scope, cost, schedule, and objectives across teams and clients.
• Evaluate strategies, constructability, and risk early in projects.
• Review major estimates, logistics, and value analysis for high-risk pursuits.
• Foster relationships with clients, design teams, and partners for decisive outcomes.
• Provide mentorship and strengthen preconstruction workflows across teams.
• Support pursuit strategy, proposals, and executive-level presentations.
